In lieu of flowers, Vanessa requested that donations be made in her name to Metavivor, a charity that focuses on finding treatments for the disease that ultimately took her life.

Phillips Robinson Funeral Home hosted Vanessa's memorial service and maintains a tribute page with comments from friends and family here.
